Solar flood lights emit a high-intensity beam. Outdoor floodlight fixtures are available with 40 to 1,200 LED bulbs. It will depend on the strength of light you need. The more LED bulbs, the more intense the light, but also the larger the solar panel and battery will need to be to provide the energy.
For a solar flood light that uses 99 LED bulbs you will need a 20-Watt solar panel and an 18Ah battery. And for a flood light that has 1,200 LED bulbs, a 148-Watt solar panel and a 200 Ah battery are needed.
Solar flood lights are fixed in a strong cast-aluminum housing for protection against the elements and vandalism. There are also adjustable brackets to adjust and aim the beam.
Solar powered flood lights have a long reach as well. A 1,200 LED bulb flood light will emit a beam that will reach 40 x 40 feet.
