With hybrid solar lighting, sunlight is directed indoors via optical light cables. This gives natural light to a space and will change during the day, giving the consumer a sense of the external. On a sunny day, no electricity is used as the sunlight is driven directly to the bulb via a UV filter to filter off harmful rays.

Finally, in these increasingly desperate days, we may have at last found a way to harness the natural light that shines down above us everyday and transmit it indoors in an almost carbon-neutral way. Looking at the sun can blind us, but harnessing its power may just enlighten us.
