Solar RV and Camping Solutions

The desire to live “off the grid” has no universal starting point. For some it is the urge for self-reliance and simplicity and for others, it is the most cost-effective solution to an economic and environmental problem. And for those of us who live “on the grid,” we receive a gift every month in the mail. An electricity bill. Prior to that bill arriving, the little meter attached to our house has been spinning day and night, tallying up our energy use as we turn on our computers, put our clothes into the dryer, forget to turn off the lights, and so on. More and more people are feeling bound to their electricity meter and wince as they flick on the kitchen lights.

Currently, the United States is a fossil fuel dependent nation and the desire to ‘get away from it all’ usually results in a carbon footprint across the skies. But there is a green alternative. The recreational vehicle, or RV, has an enthusiastic community of people intent on relieving themselves from the stresses of modern life in an eco-friendly fashion. Solar RV camping is a great way to see the country while being able to harness all your power needs from the sun.
