MorningStar SunKeeper charge controller, rated for 12 Amps at 12V. Unique design mounts directly onto the junction box of your solar panel, using the standard 1/2" knockout port, and the wires already have fork connectors for easy hookup. Highly efficient design performs all the Pulse-Width-Modulation (PWM) at the solar panel, not back at your battery, which limits your line losses and voltage drops - and the temperature compensation is performed directly at your solar panel (or it can compensate at the battery with the optional remote temp sensor). Fully sealed with epoxy encapsulation and rated for outdoor use (-40 C to +70 C, -40 F to +158 F) UV resistant housing, rated for 100% humidity (tropicalization) Fully protected against reverse polarity, short circuit, overcurrent, lightning/transient surges, high temperature and reverse current at night (NO BLOCKING DIODES NEEDED IN SOLAR PANEL).
